Sir,
The article "expression of maspin in benign and malignant salivary gland tumors: An immunohistochemical study" was based on the study conducted on 30 salivary gland tumors comprising of equal number of benign and malignant salivary gland tumors. Most of the benign tumors used in our study did show positive expression of maspin when compared to malignant tumors which has been highlighted in the study. Variable results have been found by various other authors that also have been discussed. [1] Since variable expression has been found by other authors, a larger sample size might give clarity on the same.
