Thank you for valuable comments. This study deals with two aspects; one is the correlation of interleukins with recurrent aphthous ulcer and its levels after administration of the drug levamisole. It is no doubt a treatment outcome based study. But this is not the first time the drug is been used in RAU. It has already been used and proved to be effective and its correlation with interleukins has already been established. We carried out study based on the other proved studies. As per the definitions of the various terminologies whatever the doctor said is true. But this is not the first study. Based on these circumstances we have termed it as a case control study. And of course a randomized control study would rather be more specific. But just changing the study titles won't hamper the results as such. Regarding informed consent and registration of the study I would like to bring to your kind notice that informed consent was obtained before enrolling the patients under study as well as during administration of drug and study was approved by institutional ethical committee and followed accordingly. Thank you for the critical evaluation.
